Mickey and Minnie Mouse's makeover

Disney has never been on my radar for animation. Their animation doesn’t compare to that of Pixar or even independent filmmakers, so I was surprised to see their new short “Croissant de Triomphe”. The older-stye animation reveals the new look of Mickey Mouse designed by Paul Rudish.

You may remember Paul by his work on Cartoon Network’s Powderpuff Girls and Dexter’s Laboratory. Paul is now the director and executive producer of the shorts featuring the character. To be specific, the revamped Mickey will be featured in 19 animated shorts beginning June 28. The new adventures will show off the settings of New York, Paris, Beijing, Venice, and even Santa Monica.

I can safely say it’s the greatest the little mouse has looked all I want, but that doesn’t matter if passionate Mickey fans disagree.
